BOAT # / LEAVING FROM BARRON RIVER
• Boat # signs MUST be attached to a rod if leaving from the Barron River. The sign will be in your registration bag. Affix it with the enclosed clips to the highest point of the fishing rod, visible from the riverside, so boat numbers can be documented. MANDATORY.• If leaving from another port, you MUST send/share your GPS location when leaving your port. It cannot be before Safe First Light or you will be disqualified.• Share your location for ONE (1) HOUR with Olivia at 239-850-0886 to verify starting time/port location. CHECK-IN / WEIGH-IN
• Place: Camellia Street Grill, 202 Camellia Street W., Everglades City, Florida.• Check-in: as early as 2:00 PM and NO LATER THAN 4:30 PM ONLY.• A 3-inch penalty per minute late applies to any team arriving after 4:30 PM.• One team member from each team must be physically present at Camellia Street Grill with the photos for them to be valid. NO text/message/email photos accepted.• In the event of a TIE, the team that checks in first wins.• RAPALA measuring boards MUST be returned or team is disqualified.• Weigh Master(s) have final say.
WEIGH-IN LINE & RECORDED TIMES
• Two recorded times: (1) Ruler Check-In Time—when the team checks in its ruler at the weigh-in line; (2) Weigh-In Time—when the team meets the Weigh Master.• ONE team member must stay in line at all times. Any team arriving after 4:30 PM will have its late penalty recorded.• Winning time is based on the Weigh Master Time. For a team late to weigh-in, time is based on Ruler Check-In Time. Both times may be used to resolve discrepancies.• NO MORE THAN 2 anglers from a team may be in the weigh-in line at any time. ONLY 2 anglers may discuss measurements/photos with the Weigh Master.• If more than 2 team members are present, the team must choose up to 2 people to discuss photos and measurements.
PHOTO REVIEW / ISSUES
• Photos will be reviewed in line before seeing the Weigh Master for discrepancies.• If fish photos are not in ONE album on ONE phone, the team will move behind the next team in line until the photos are organized. This can affect weigh-in time and tie results.• If you have an issue to discuss, you MUST WAIT until ALL teams have submitted their measurements. You may then come to the Weigh Master station to discuss the issue before final results.
