2022 Charities!! We are so proud!!
We are proud to announce that we have donated $65,000 to our charities in our first Nate Edwards Fishing Tournament!! WOW! We can’t THANK our sponsors, our donors and our volunteers enough…
To our many sponsors and to all of you who donated with money and/or volunteered your time and the anglers who participated… a huge THANK YOU to all of you for making the first Nate Edwards Fishing Tournament such a huge success!
You allowed us to raise this considerable amount of money to help make changes in our world and our community and we THANK YOU again for all your support and help!!!

CHARITIES:
EVERGLADES CITY SCHOOL: Our first donation of $29,000 was to the Everglades City School and the Nate Edwards Scholarship fund. This fund allows graduating students to attend any Trade or Captains school of their choice!
Funds are also used to help out other programs at the school-for 2022. Some funds this year were allocated to the student garden and culinary program.
LARC Inc: Our second donation of $7,000 was to LARC Inc, an organization that helps provide opportunities to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families living in Lee and Collier County. Currently they provide programs and services to about 300 men and women annually.
AUTISM SERVICES OF FLORIDA (ASOFL): Third donation of $29,000 was to the Autism Services of Florida. This donation will help ASOFL work towards the goal of building another school for kids with Autism Spectrum disorder (ASD), add more specialized therapists, and help care for more kids and their families across Southwest Florida.
Also, a huge shout out and thanks to ASOFL Tim Edge (Weigh Master) and Nicole Edge (scribe for scores) and Scott Arel, MC for their timely help during the “weigh in”!

Nate Edwards Annual Fishing Tournament is proud to announce we have raised $65,000.00 for Our Charities!!! We can’t be more proud that our 1st year we doubled our goal!! It’s an amazing feeling! I can’t express my gratitude to Everyone, Sponsors, Donations, Anglers and teams who donated their winnings back, Captains, and the people who donated their time to make this a huge success!! A special thanks to Camilla Street Grill for the amazing dinner and the invite to come back year after year! Special Thanks to EFC for allowing us to have our awesome weigh In!

In closing, it is with mixed emotions that we are celebrating the success of this tournament in Nate Edwards memory. He was a wonderful young man who left us too early, but he would be so proud that his tournament will help out so many people at Everglades City School, Autism Services of Florida and LARC.
